E-learning Production Scheme

Our latest e-learning production scheme projects

18 May 2015 Posted in: News By: Gill Ritchie

Our latest call for proposals for our e-learning production scheme attracted a significant number of applications and we have been able to fund a total of 9 projects which will be running between now and the end of July. The applications came from a variety of different departments, covered a range of different e-learning activities and demonstrated that staff across QMUL have got some great ideas around incorporating technology into their teaching.

The projects funded in this round included:

  • The virtual medical student: peer-assisted learning in Medicine
  • Increasing engagement through an information hub for International Foundation Programme students
  • Using video resources to support students in presenting themselves to employers
  • Formative quizzes to prompt student thinking in an undergraduate Law module
  • Online journals, group work and video: a blended module in English
  • Resources to support the teaching of governance and professionalism in Medicine

You can find further information on our production scheme web pages including details of what the scheme is and how it works and descriptions of all funded projects.

We will be looking for more ideas for projects to start early in the next academic year so keep an eye out for the call for applications. We will announce this on our website, our E-Learning Practitioner email list and our E-Learning Practitioner group on QMplus.
