Mobile Technology in Teaching and Learning

The E-Learning Unit is running the event ‘Mobile Technology in Teaching and Learning’ on Thursday 3rd April 2014. This event is beneficial to everybody who is involved in either teaching at QML or managing E-learning activities within their school/faculty/institute. As well as discussing introductory concepts around mobile learning, we will also hear from QML colleagues engaged in a variety of mobile initiatives such as:

  • Dentistry – Mobile apps for Teaching and Assessment – Fiona Clarke
  • SLLF – Turnitin iPad app for Assessment and Feedback – Linnaea Stockall
  • EECS – Teaching from a tablet – Laurie Cuthbert
  • Chemistry – Samsung tablets in Chemistry Teaching – Nathalie Lebrasseur
  • Medicine – Mobile Learning in Dentistry (A Visual Approach) – Oluyori Adegun

The event will end with a panel discussion and there will be ample opportunity for questions. The final programme will be available on the ELU website.

  • Date – Thursday 3rd April
  • Time – 10:00 – 12:00 followed by lunch
  • Venue – Arts One Lecture Theatre. Lunch will be provided at 12:00 in Arts One Foyer. Please fill out the Eventbrite form
